Elder Abuse is a complex and many faceted major problem in our society, and one  whose incidence is still being assessed. It is being belatedly tackled, and sadly, it seems that it may well rival the incidence of child abuse.

We had a lot to do with the establishment of the Elder Abuse Prevention Association, [EAPA] which is  now about to hold its 4th Annual three day seminar in Melbourne [1st to the 3rd of October]. I t is a god thing talking about elder abuse  it really concerns me that people in their vulnerable years can be taken advantage of and abused.  I have not ever come across it but would not ignore it if I saw that sort of thin happening, I hope the symposiom comes up with some ideas on coping with this problem.
