Is greypower rising or is it ephemera?

Is greypower on the warpath over fair pensions, or is it ephemera? I think that achieving useful outcomes from this courageous demonstration will require sustained effort, and that will only come about with some sort of independent and noisy national leadership.

There is some debate over the modesty etc of such demonstrations, but it seems that, sadly, in todays political and commercial life, the only doors that get oiled are the squeaky ones.

In my case I reckon it wuz ephemera but since  giving up they fags it's a whole lot better.

More seriously. Regard the smoke and mirrors about last week's munificent $20 per week  c.o.l. award/grant/ gift/ bone for the lowliest [ registered] paid. Congrats all round particularly from  the well heeled. Closer scrutiny however shews that it doesn't even cover the year on year inflation rate increase. Despite all the media blare, earnest sincere toned speakspeople, screaming headlines both jubilant and outraged. The net gain to the hard pressed? Which includes many just like you and me, retired folks. Well, was uhm, was uhm zilch actually.

Alone of its family, when the Grey Dragon sleeps it grows weaker not stronger. There's nane left noo to look oot for us but oor saen.  We're a'most a' orphans. If we dinnae ask we'll no get.  And if asking doesnae work. Then we must organize and demand say I. For those  a' who'd waiver let them cogitate on the fact that 65% of a 65 y.o. = H2o. Coincidence? Luck? Call it what you will. But what with this looming water crisis. You never ever know really do you. Twisted minds and all that. Surely not. Solve a lot of problems in one hit though wouldn't it? Another solyent green biccie anyone ?
